Copywriting

During a 2025 summer internship with Princess Cruises, I produced clean, brand-consistent copy for a wide range of marketing campaigns. I drafted first-round copy from creative briefs and collaborated closely with my manager to refine tone, integrate campaign details, and align with brand standards. I reviewed second-round proofs in Workfront, checking copy within full design layouts to ensure accuracy before each campaign went live. In addition, I redesigned the historical Copy Matrix, turning a dense, difficult-to-search Word document into a simple, searchable, and streamlined copy library that centralized approved boilerplate copy, supported faster reuse, and preserved organizational memory.

Manager Reference
The following is a reference from my direct manager.

Marshall was a pleasure to have on our team as an intern from June to August 2025. He was consistently reliable and a positive presence, always putting in a full 40 hours a week. Marshall got up to speed with our workflow and project management tools like Asana and Workfront incredibly fast. He has great communication skills, always asking questions when he was unsure and showing a real eagerness to get started, even when project details were a bit vague. He was a huge help with organizing our copy matrix and showed some impressive flashes of creativity with his writing.

Throughout his internship, Marshall embraced his learning objectives. He showed real improvement in his copywriting, contributing to several projects and continuously getting better at balancing a creative tone with the necessary details. He also did a fantastic job of understanding our company’s larger ecosystem, participating in meetings, and even interviewing other managers to learn more about how his work fit in. Marshall’s positive attitude and willingness to learn were truly appreciated by everyone on the team. He has a lot of potential, and I’m confident he would be a great addition to any team. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
